When it comes to resurrection of the dead in these last days, one ought to ask this question: “how many resurrections” will take place and what did the Bible say? Who are involved in the resurrection? According to the Bible, there will be ONE resurrection for all the saints who have died in the Lord Jesus (whether Jews or Gentiles). Another resurrection captured in the scriptures is the one of the TWO WITNESSES and the last resurrection event is the one for the whole world, who did not die in Christ.**THE FIRST RESURRECTION**Now 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, we are told that the Lord Himself will descend with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. This means that, the those who died in Christ will rise at the sound of the trumpet before those who remain are caught up to be with them. This is one resurrection among the other two. Another scripture in 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 also reveals how the dead will be raised incorruptible and those alive and remain shall be changed at the LAST TRUMPET.This resurrection is what the prophets, the Apostles of our Lord and our Lord Himself spoke about when they were on earth. This is the hope of every one who comes to Christ Jesus, that one day, at the sound of that last trumpet, we will be worthy to be raptured to be with the Lord forever. In Daniel 12:13, the angel said this words to prophet Daniel: “But you go your way till the END; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.” Many christians from early centuries who died from the persecutions and tribulations in the hands of the ROMAN EMPIRE are all awaiting this Day, when they will receive their new bodies and be united with the LORD and serve Him forever. Apostle Paul said this words regarding this resurrection; “For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.” This shows that the RESURRECTION of the dead is crucial to our faith, and we cannot esteem it lightly. In Isaiah 26:19-20, in speaking of the resurrection, the prophet revealed that “the earth shall cast out the dead.” Many of the prophets and the Apostles of the Lord taught the church the importance of the resurrection. Jesus told them that He was going to prepare a place for them and when he was done, He would come back for them (John 14:1-3). Jesus knew that Apostle Peter will have to also resurrect when he told him the kind of death he would suffer (John 21:18-19). So Peter also is waiting to resurrect so are all the apostles of our LORD.Now let’s go into some interesting discussion in the Bible. In revelation 20:4-6, we are told that the saints who went through the tribulation were also part of the “first resurrection (Revelation 20:5). Now the scripture reads “…..then I saw the souls of those who had been BEHEADED for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the BEAST or his IMAGE and had not received his MARK on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the REST of the DEAD (they will be in the category of the SECOND resurrection) did not live again until the thousand years were finished. THIS IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION.The question that arises from this statement is this: “If the RAPTURE had already taken place before the tribulation began (7years, which has the first 3.5 years and another 3.5 years), then how could those who were beheaded or killed for refusing to worship or take the mark of the beast manage to be part of the first resurrection? You see, it is impossible, no matter how much you try to explain it. According to the scriptures, this slaughter of the saints will happen in the latter part of the tribulation (which is the last 3.5 years). So how do we explain this to people who want to believe in PRETRIBULATIONAL RAPTURE? Can we all see the error in this? The pretribulation teachers and doctrine say that the “ready Christians” will be raptured before the tribulation, which if it’s true is the first resurrection. But then, shockingly, those who were beheaded and killed in the tribulation are still part of those who were raptured before the tribulation. If we cannot explain how the saints who will die in the latter part of the great tribulation can be part of the “First resurrection”which also includes the Pretrib saints, then we need to question this doctrine or thought or theology. The Holy Spirit is not the author of confusion. Also, in Revelation 7:9 the Bible speaks of INNUMERABLE saints from all nations, tribes, tongues and peoples standing before the throne and the Lamb with palm branches in their hands. When John inquired who they were and where they had come from, one of the Elders said this: “…..these are the ones who have come out of the GREAT TRIBULATION, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 7:15). The number of these saints who will wash their robes doesn’t seem to be in hundreds, or ten thousands or a million. But the Bible says a ‘multitude that no one could number’. This again shows that those saints who will go through the tribulation are not just some few “left over christians or Jews”, but all christians. And according to the Bible, we are MANY.

Some christians believe that their church and denomination say it’s pre-tribulational rapture. Other churches or denominations believe that the rapture will take place in the middle of the tribulation. Another group posit that it is after the tribulation.Amazingly, all these groups presume to have scriptures to back their positions. Many times it turns into argument and name calling. We are supposed to examine scriptures for ourselves when we hear them just like the saints in Berea (Acts 17:11). Now let me also share what I believe is written in scripture concerning this matter so that you can know my knowledge in this matter and the questions I have. All these positions believe however that in the rapture of the church, the dead in Christ have to rise first (resurrection of the dead). If this is so, we can then look at different scriptures if not all, what the LORD Himself said about resurrection. In Daniel 12:1-2, the angel of the LORD gave a message to Daniel. He spoke this: “At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a “TIME OF TROUBLE” Such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, EVERYONE who is found written in the BOOK. And many of those who ‘sleep in the dust’ of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt..”In this above text, the angel explicitly said that there will be a “time of trouble” before the deliverance and resurrection of the dead. God promised prophet Daniel that in the time of great trouble, only those whose names are written in “the book” shall be delivered; meaning those who will be raptured shall have their names in the Lamb’s book of Life. Ask yourself this: “Are those who are of Israel whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of Life (Jewish christians now called Messianic Jews) going to have a different resurrection than those who are Gentile christians? Would you have Bible scriptures to back your point if you said yes to the above question? If No, then let’s find out about what the trouble is about? The next thing we have to address is this: “the time of trouble.” In the subsequent verses of Daniel 12, especially in the verse 7-9, the angel revealed this; “……that it shall be for a time, times and half a time; and when the power of the Holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. The statement “time, times and half a time” represent three and half years (3.5years). This calculation can be seen in Daniel 7:25, typifying “The Great Tribulation” which is echoed in Revelation 13:5 as forty two months (42 months equals 3.5 years). Therefore, from Daniel 12, we can understand that the people, elect of God who will go through the tribulation already have their names in the book of life. If the people of Daniel, meaning, Messianic Jews in these last days have to go through the tribulation, who believes in Jesus Christ and are in Him; then, why should the Gentile believers claim that they won’t go through the tribulation despite the angel saying that the Jewish Christians will? Are the Gentile christians claiming superiority over Messianic jews? Are the Jews and Gentiles not supposed to be one in Christ? (Galatians 3:28). Moreover, the anti Christ was to make war against the saints and overcome them from every tribe, tongues, nation (Revelation 13:7). So it’s not going to be only Messianic Jews (saints) going through the tribulation but every Christian from all nations and tongues. The argument of supposed “left behind” christians going through the tribulation is not scriptural. If that was possible, the 5 foolish virgins will have a second chance (read Matthew 25). But Jesus told them plainly “I DO NOT KNOW YOU.”Again, the Apostle John received this revelation not for the Jews in Judaism (non Christian Jews) but for the church (which at that time were both Jews and Gentiles/Greeks). So, for us to assume that the non saved Jews will go through the tribulation to be saved or converted is unfathomable. For in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, the word of God says that “…..because the people did not RECEIVE the love of the truth (GOSPEL), that they might be SAVED, and for this reason God will send them a STRONG DELUSION that they should believe a lie; that they “MAY ALL PERISH” who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. “ That means when the Anti Christ is revealed, the salvation door closes for all, whether Jews or Gentiles and all unsaved people will believe the lie from the man of Sin and will perish forever.Think about this. The church began with Jews because the gospel was preached to them first. Many believed and many rejected the gospel. All those who believed among them have died and are waiting for the day of Resurrection. Aren’t they also part of them that the angel said those who “sleep in the dust shall awake” (Daniel 12:1)? And if they will be awakened, shouldn’t their resurrection be after the “great trouble” as the God told Daniel through the prophet? Should we trust God’s word or man’s opinion?Unless any church or denomination can prove from scriptures that there will be “two resurrections”; one for Gentile church and another for the Jewish christians/ church(Messianic Jews), we all should begin to question this position of pre-tribulational rapture. Because those whose names are written in the Lambs book of Life are the elect of God, the chosen before the foundation of the World. And the elect from the Messianic Jews and the Gentile church are one in Christ and Jesus Christ, our Lord will gather them as one.END OF PART 1

To those who have read the Bible and understand part of it and those who haven’t read it all. Let me share an event in the Bible with you which will happen in our days (our generation). In Revelation 11, the Lord tells us that there will be two prophets the Lord Himself will anoint and send to the earth to help the body of Christ. These two prophets will be powerful to the point that their enemies who seek to kill them will die.

These two prophets will prophesy for 3.5 years and will perform many mighty signs by the power of God. They will torment the world by their prophesies. They have power to shut heaven so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy, and they have power over waters to turn them to blood. They also have power to strike the earth with all plagues as often as they desire.

But when they finish their prophecies (assignment), the beast, the anti Christ will make war with them and kill them. Their bodies will lie on the streets for 3.5 days and the whole world will see their bodies on the street and rejoice. They will send gifts to one another in that time frame. They will rejoice because when these prophets speak, whatever they say will happen on earth.

Now let me help you to understand something. This revelation given to John, the Apostle was somewhere between 80-91AD as historian put it. But the astonishing thing about this event is that when the prophets die, the world will see their dead bodies on the street.

Many centuries ago, this prophesy could not have been possible. But in our age, it is possible. Because of internet and social media platforms, news travel faster. We have become connected through WhatsApp video, telegram or other live chats. So these two prophets who will be known in the world will not be celebrated but hated. So many across the globe will see their dead bodies perhaps on social media platform like YouTube or Facebook live or WhatsApp video call or FaceTime. People will broadcast live programs and news to show the world the end of these prophets. God already knew what our world will become and has given us this revelation.

So as we continue to develop and grow in innovation, know that this prophesy will be fulfilled in our time. And this event is part of the great Tribulation the Bible has spoken about. But after 3.5 days, these prophets will rise and ascend to God through the clouds and the world will watch this.

The Lord has given us signs of these times and we should not harden our hearts. Almost 2000 years ago, God spoke of how our world will be connected together to even witness the death of His two messengers.Jesus Christ is the only Lord and Saviour. Don’t be deceived in these days. He has given us His word to be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Find Jesus and receive His life.

Thus sayest the LORD:

“I will open rivers in desolate, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water (Isaiah 41:18).”

No matter how dry your life or walk with Christ Jesus has become, the Lord is able to refresh you again with springs of living water.

If you have become like a desolate height, rivers will be opened to you. If you find yourself in the valley and almost wants to give up, the fountains will reach to you there as well. You will have a pool in the wilderness, and God will make sure it doesn’t dry up.

And just when you think no one, not even God can cause your dry land to be fertile again, God causes spring to flow onto the land from a rock. He causes the water moving underground to find an opening to the land surface.

Wherever you find yourself today, regardless of the harshest of the conditions you might be facing, I want you to know that my God, whose name is Jesus Is able to save you and change your story. Just come to Him, trust in Him and let him into your life today.

A new day has come!

One of the merits the anointing from God does for you is to reveal all things to you. Consider this scripture in 1 John 2:20 “but you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things”. To have mastery is to have knowledge. That means, when you have the anointing from God in you, when you desire revelation of a matter, it can be or will be made manifest to you.

The anointing gives us divine insight and causes us to walk in the light though darkness surrounds us. When you walk in the anointing, your light cannot dim or be stopped from shinning. It shines brighter to the day you exit the earth and are found in the presence of your maker and God.

The anointing makes us wise and reveals to us the works of darkness in order to depart from. It is written in Proverbs 22:3, that the prudent foresees danger and takes precautions but the simple go on and suffer for it.” This is because the Spirit guides our way and leads us in the way we should go.

Let us therefore continuously abide in Christ, that the anointing we have received from the Spirit will abide in us and will teach all us all things so that we will become a people who are pleasing to the Lord in all things.

Shalom!

2 Kings 7:1-2

“Then Elisha said, Hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the LORD: Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold shekel, and two seals of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.
So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this be? And he said, Infact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

In this verses, we see that both men were men under authority; one by the king of Israel and the prophet of God, was under the authority of the King of the whole universe. Though the king’s armour bearer mocked Elisha, yet the prophet’s word came to pass because the word proceeded forth from the LORD.

Therefore, brethren, let us be wise not to go about mocking the word of prophecy from men and women sent by God Almighty we do not yet know. For the prophet prophesies, not by his own will, but the holy men speak as they are inspired or moved by the Spirit of God.

When God speaks, who is man to challenge or mock Him? Therefore, whatever situation you may find yourself, when the word of the Lord is spoken to you through a prophet of God, believe it because the word will prove true at the end. And CONSEQUENTLY, your tomorrow shall be changed and established by that same word.

Shalom!

When you read Genesis 19 about the account of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, there is something you can’t afford to miss.

In verse 1 of that chapter, the Bible states that “Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom.”

To understand why Lot was at the gate on that evening, we must understand the symbolism of gates in the Bible. They denote points of access point and authority.

Though the angels had planned to stay in the city square to unleash the wrath of God upon the lawless people, Lot was able to direct them to his home and host them. By divine revelation and his righteousness, he saved himself and family.

In Isaiah 28:5-6, it is written that “in that day shall the Lord of hosts will be for a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty to the remnants of His people, for a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and for strength to those turn battle at the gates.”

That being said, Lot, the righteous man who was distressed by the immoral conduct of the immoral people (2 Peter 2:7) was delivered by God, because ‘he turned the battle at the gate’ by influencing the angels to come to his home. It takes a man of the Spirit to walk in revelation and understanding.

There’s an ongoing spiritual battle taking place everywhere to influence people (both young and old) to live according to the dictates of the devil.

As believers, we need to begin or continue to share the truth of God’s word boldly without fear or intimidation because we are the salt of the earth. And also, as yeast influences the dough, so are we called to influence the world around us everyday.

Shalom!

Before the windows of heaven were opened and the fountains of deep were broken up in Genesis 7:11, to cause the flooding in the days of Noah, there wasn’t any unusual weather patterns that might have signal the end of that civilization.

But when the ark was prepared and ready, and Noah and family entered with the animals, all of a sudden the rains were on the earth. It was so sudden that the people could not have time to change their minds or hearts to believe Noah’s preaching.

Therefore, brethren, take note from them, and heed the warning from Jesus Himself, His Apostles and Prophets who have spoken to us by the Spirit concerning this last days.

Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God is gathering His sheep, both Jews and Gentiles (John 10:16) and when the fullness have come in, He will appear with His angels and the heavenly saints in the skies to take those who are ready to be with Him and execute judgment on the ungodly.

Consider this and don’t be lacking in zeal, but faithfully serve the Lord, adhering to His commands and being a doer of His Word. Arise, and shine! Awaken from your sleep and trim your lamps again! For the the Sun of Righteousness will soon appear!

Shalom!

Luke 15:21-28
The syrophoenician woman came to Jesus with an expectation. She had faith and came to receive for her daughter. She refused to accept denial, but held on to the belief that her child will be well by the time she leaves Jesus.
Expectation is a strong belief that something will happen now or in the future. The root word is expectationem (Latin) meaning “an awaiting”. We sometimes want to have low expectations of God, so that when something we prayed for doesn’t happen, we are not left disappointed.

Your faith and expectation provokes divine manifestation.
Faith is an assurance for manifestation (you wait in faith). Faith says you have it.
We go into relationship with expectation. God has expectations and we have expectations too.
We set expectations in order for one to meet them or measure to them, and attempt to meet them.
There is never an expectation that is too high for God to meet. But we don’t always and cannot always meet His expectations. That’s why the covenant relationship is by grace. Do your part and He does His part. The Greater One always does His part regardless of the timeline but most often, it is us who stop hoping.

Remember,
Your expectation (hope) shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18). And hope doesn’t disappoint.
Where there is an expectation, there is an obligation. God is obligated (because of His covenant) to act and perform a miracle for us and or fulfill His promises when we have faith and have an expectation for that manifestation.
Therefore, have faith, have a higher expectation and God will do the rest according to His divine will.

“Joshua and Caleb said “If the LORD is pleased with us, He will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us.

Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them them up. Their protection is gone is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them (Numbers 14:8-9).”

Caleb and Joshua among the twelve spies saw something different and their report was contrary to what the other ten saw. They saw with their eyes of faith and believed in the God who brought them out of Egypt. All these twelve people had seen God’s mighty power demonstration in Egypt, but they still doubted His ability to defeat these giant race.

What have you said about the problem you’re facing now?Have you magnified those challenges more than God? Have you thought like the other ten spies? If yes, then I am here to tell you that God is far greater and mightier than billions of giants and demons combined. He, who is in you is greater than he who is in this world (1 John 4:4).

Don’t be shaken by the circumstances you are going through. Only believe in Jehovah Sabaoth- the Lord of Hosts; and He will prove to you that He is the only God who calls things into existence that do not exist. God is not done with you yet because He who has began a good work in you will bring it to a perfect end. When you have the spirit of Joshua and Caleb, you will indeed live above your problems and fulfill the purpose God has planned out for you.

God bless!
